Description

The Information Technology Manager reports to the CEO and is expected to provide vision and leadership for designing, developing, and implementing IT systems and communications infrastructure. Ensuring the systems are secure, robust, reliable and sound; incorporating industry best practices.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Leadership:
 Lead, develop, and implement IT initiatives that enable the Company to be profitable and
adapt to market change and emerging trends
 Translates the company vision into IT systems and procedures, articulating this critical
link to the company stakeholders, including the Executive Team
 Manage, motivate, and develop all staff within the IT team

Planning:
 Lead and coordinate the development of infrastructure incorporating key business
strategies and processes are supported by strong systems geared to growth and flexibility
 Prepare and plan annual budgets and budgets for approved projects
 Translate business needs into system solutions making maximum use of available tools while
ensuring longer-term supportability of the architecture

Efficiency & Effectiveness:

 Manage Regional WAN/LAN System
 Manage island wide Sales and retailer network
 Monitors and oversees third party system including:
– Internal Enterprise Resources System covering Finance, HR and CRM
– Call center systems
– Banking Platforms
 Ensure the availability of critical application systems to support business and operation
needs.
 Develop IT policies and procedures ensuring consistency in standards
 Develop and implement IT security protocols
 Monitor industry trends, make recommendations for system upgrades, upgradeability, and
future industry trends
 Manage IT risks, including unauthorized access to information, data integrity problems,
loss of processing capability, and insufficient service levels
 Ensure the IT infrastructure is successfully exploited to achieve continuous improvement
and competitive advantage
 Providing appropriate training and support for all users
 Manage, monitor and maintain web page
 Collaborate with operating units to conceptualize, develop, and launch technology-based
products and services

Qualifications

 Bachelor’s in Information Technology, Master of Business Administration or Master of Science
 Up to date IT certifications
 3-5 years IT Management experience

Preferred Skills

 Hands on computer operations management, multiple roles in systems implementation,
supervision of technical personnel, architecture, security/compliance, business-wide
strategic planning and budgetary responsibility
 Experience managing and working with cloud-based system
 Budget Management
 Track record of effective leadership, strong strategic thinking with successful technical
execution.
 Ability to establish credibility at all levels, inside and outside the organization.
 Experience and knowledgeable in Software Development Life Cycle
 Knowledge of source control management and automated testing concepts.
 Experience in a retail environment is desirable
